Ancient Nikopolis was the largest city of ancient Greece. It was founded by the Romans at the Southwesten Epirus, near to Preveza.
In this area some indicative points of visiting inteterst could be the new archaeological museum of Nicopolis, the Roman walls and the cemetery, the early Christian walls, the Roman Stadium and Augustus Monument.
We move forward reaching Preveza where we can walk to the city center and the port.
